Sydney Irving: Music
click here to book sydney irving nowSinger-songwriter-guitarist Sydney Irving found unexpected creative growth during the Covid-19 pandemic. Isolated at home as a high school junior, she immersed herself in playing guitar and writing songs—many of which would later shape her debut album, Unfashioned Creatures. After graduating, the Syracuse, NY native chose to pursue music full-time rather than attend college, dedicating herself to songwriting, performing over 140 shows a year, and building her own publishing and touring operation. Now 21, Irving has signed with DEKO Entertainment (distributed by Warner Music Group/ADA), secured worldwide management with Pilato Entertainment, and formed a five-piece touring band.
Written or co-written, co-produced, and largely performed by Irving, Unfashioned Creatures showcases her stylistic range—from punk-leaning anthems like “You Can’t Forget About Me to power-pop rocker “Seasons Change and the stripped-down “Dreaming. Inspired in part by a line from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, the album reflects her wide musical influences, from Taylor Swift’s storytelling to Tom Petty’s songwriting craft. Raised in a music-filled household and performing live since age 14, Irving embraces every stage opportunity with the philosophy of giving her all to every audience, no matter the size.
Irving began her recording career at 14 with Hello Stranger, followed by The Halfmoon Sessions in 2018, steadily building a regional and now expanding international following. Her singles have topped indie radio charts, and she has earned honors including Young Adult Artist of the Year from the International Singer Songwriters Association and Best New Artist at the Syracuse Area Music Awards. Having shared stages with artists such as Martina McBride, Gavin DeGraw, and Midland—where a duet performance went viral—Irving continues to gain momentum. With a growing global fanbase and a Fall 2025 international release planned for Unfashioned Creatures, she is poised for broader recognition.
